Like, is it even possible for someone to be just friends with a person they were(/still is) truly in love with? Like, HECK NO. This trope sucks.
So one character got their happily ever after and the another is gonna go down as the person who achieved nothing and nurses a broken heart over them?
What is the point? We're also just gonna have to suck it up like Mil because life is unfair?

Normalize friendship. Seriously. A male character doesn't have to be in love with the MC. SERIOUSLY. Why can't platonic relationships show up in these stories?????
