Oomg that would be soo awesomee. It also crossed my mind your theory a little bit so i doo hope that it will be like that. It's annoying that 2 chapters appear after a month..
For every mission , every 'main' reincarnation she meets , that is her sifu's past self . We cant deny the fact that the emperor fell for her and how his appearance looks oddly familiar to the sifu ( the author's giving us hints or it's just the drawing ╮(￣▽￣)╭ )
And just like @JeanneZoroLaw said ( I wish mangago have a tag option ) , the sifu is actually waiting for the girl to fall in love with him ; and of course, i think she's gonna.
Everytime she went back to the present , she's going learn something new about the sifu and fell in love ; but for a dramatic plot , i bet she's going to end up stuck in the past . Girls who have never been touched by love are vulnerable you know (⌒▽⌒)
