I agreed with this but I think that Cirrus already knows that Skylar experienced severe bullying at the hands of who he thought was his best friend for being gay. Skylar is afraid others will find out he’s gay and he’ll experience the bullying again. Maybe I’m misremembering and Cirrus doesn’t know that..

I love that cirrus is being so honest and forward and like,, tbh it's not really manipulative to ask your partner for reassurance that they reciprocate your feelings when they're fully aware of your trauma and yet constantly treating you like they're ashamed of you skylar really needs to explain his behavior too
