In manwhas like this, ofc the ML would always have some reason for it. But personally, It still doesn't excuse his neglect and the extreme lack of communication. Like cmon.. despite the years they've been together, FL wasn't even aware that he liked her back in their past lives.
Adding in the fact that they've yet to talk about what happened in their previous lives frustrates me. Like mans out here ready to appear lovestruck but cant for the life of him say or write letter explaining why he had to neglect her. Would I still read this tho? Yes, definitely. :3
I agree with you to a certain degree and I know they will have a conversation in the story about it. I read the novel and I think some of his actions, not all, can be understood.
