Do you mean what happened when he was in the Marketing Department? That’s where he was before he worked as the design Team Leader. His former coworkers and boss were trying to embezzle money and Seo tried to report them, but he was silenced and bullied out of marketing.

Originally, Seo hated and avoided Youngchan because he thought he was having sex in the bathroom during the company dinner. Plus, Youngchan already is attracted to Seo this early, but has no experience in relationships, so he comes on WAY to strong and pesters Seo even tho he knows Seo hates him. Youngchan decides that he wants any attention he can get from Seo, even if that means making Seo mad at him. He’d rather be hated than ignored. Seo is an intensely anxious person, he feels safest when he feels like he can control his life. Youngchan messes all that up just by being a menace.
After they’ve started hooking up, Seo gets attached to Youngchan. Around chapter 46-47, they fight after another misunderstanding. Seo is offended by Youngchan saying he’s difficult to handle and thinks that Youngchan implies that Seo is a nympho. Swi avoids Youngchan until chapter 50, when they hook up in the office. Seo tries to hide the issues his mother is having from Youngchan (cuz he’s embarrassed) in cap 55. Then Youngchan brings him coffee while he’s visiting his mom in the hospital and they hook up there. Things pretty much start smoothing out for them from there on.
To sum it up: Seo is anxious and insecure and has a low self esteem, I think he feels like Youngchan is a threat to his control over his life. Youngchan doesn’t know why Seo dislikes him, so he’s anxious and insecure, too.
