He still mistreated her before the witch came. So I don’t feel any pity for him tbh
i guess being distant & cold can be called mistreatment - but she was mistreated by the servants more & it was cause she choose to isolate herself (cause she knew she never to be the FL).
so isn't she also at fault(?) for keeping quite about everything, including his standoffish behavior & never calling him out on it?!?
she wasn't scared of him & he saved her for that crazy step-brother so she knew she could rely on him.
so can't really not feel sad for him, cause their relationship was a mess, cause they didn't communicate & IMHO - they both at fault
His negligence allowed others to abuse her. He didn't even bother to check and even let the security on that island loose. When she told him about that psycho brother, he didn't even believe her and it threatened her life. When she wanted to leave, he not only didn't help her but also prevented her from leaving when HE broke their contract.
I AM still mad at him.
& the kid has more sense then the SML - he not that bad a guy (considering he was tricked by that witch) but he lost his chance (or never had one in the 1st place, as he was destined to be bewitched by her always) so i feel bad for him. but he needs to clean house & kick the witch out before she destroys him & his family before it's too late - for that kid if not for himself ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
