I think is a cultural thing for their society. To us, that is rape they don't see like that
I also understand there are cultural differences. But I mean, you’d think there’s still a universal understanding, especially among women or those who would be on the victim side of it, that consent is a line that can’t be crossed.
I don’t mind rape in a story. As long as it’s acknowledged as such, and not just part of their story, ya know?
I agree but they don't see it like that and sometimes they'll say it's the victim fault (when clearly is not)
But would the author be thinking that?
I wonder if someone asked the author if she thought Jaekyung was raping Kim Dan, what they would say.
Because I feel like they'd either have to think it’s not rape, or know it’s rape but think it’s not that bad.
I just wonder what the thought process is of ppl that want them to be together. Any thoughts?
