I remember reading the novel a while ago and Ennid isn't the dragons blood chosen, he found the cure to remove the curse about Glunn not being able to have sex with regular people though.
It turns out the dukes family had a long history of abusing/experimenting on dragons to get the dragons sacred blood/powers. So Ennid and Glunn found one of the last remaining dragons that survived the experiments and it knew of the cure (it was like a plant found at the dukes continent somewhere only the dragon knew).
And if I'm not mistaken, Ennid never became pregnant but they did take a child with them to the dukes continent. The child was a reincarnation of someone that helped save and protect the last abused dragon. So the dragon said he'd help them with the cure if they protected the child.
So yeah that's what I can kinda recall. I read the novel on booktoki a long time ago, but if u want more details u can read it there.
