Ariadne is just a pure villain. Can't even protect innocent people.
Aria from Villainess turns hourglass saved her loved ones and never harm innocent people rather tried to save them but still got criticism fr readers about how she was a villainess in her first life (Lol, she repent and never once harm good people).
But Ariadne here was villain in her first life no matter how much she tried to justify how she got manipulated and blah blah. She killed innocent people in first life and still feel like she is damsel in distress. Feel like author is forcefully making her take revenge.

? Aria has a magic hourglass, from what we've seen Ariadne has no such power that can allow her to fix her mistakes. sure, sometimes Aria couldn't use the hourglass, but it's still a big difference especially bc she came back as a child while Ariadne was an adult, so there is a difference to how much they could change their situations. ariadne was the villain after being manipulated just like Aria, but Ariadne was manipulated by a prince with power while Aria was manipulated by her sister who was only a noble, there's another difference there.

i really don't know why you're comparing them because IMO Ariadne feels so much better to read because she has actual stakes and difficulties while for Aria everything went very smoothly, at least in my opinion, which is something i don't really enjoy on Villainesses manhwas: the way when they regress they quickly triumph and all that. if anything I am very invested in this story because seeing a protagonist fail and then feel like everything is lost but then seeing them rise again is really fun, especially when there's a world that's more crude and realistic like the one Ariadne is in. with Aria i didn't feel such thing, but I guess that's just personal opinions.

in short, ariadne is not a damsel in distress, she's just a bit more realistic

Lol, I wasn’t talking about it. You totally got me wrong. I was talking about how readers were saying Aria is a pure villainess but Aria knew what she did wrong and did everything to make it right.
But in Ariadne's case she try to justify her previous wrong doing. In my opinion she was a villainess and trying to justify her killing innocent people is soo wrong. And it is a revenge plot but here love is strongly implied. And last few chapters I am seeing how main characters are struggling and all shit.
And I am not comparing these two manhwas I am just talking how one is refereed as a villainess another one is innocent.

yeah i kind of get what you mean but like the other person said realistically you could never go about in a political situation like this without innocent lives being lost and that goes for both of her lives. I feel that ariadne's story is much more realistic and deep in the way that she has to constantly gamble with lives. In aria's story there was never really any danger and everything was sugar and spice and everything nice with only the bad people getting hurt while the good ones were fine
