And the second male lead were not supposed to root for is the main character's close friend who's been there for them, has been respectful to the mc, is openly gay, openly supportive of his gay friends and is actively helping his community in an incredibly homophobic society? at this point i dont even care if he ends up with the mc i just hope he gets together with someone who loves them back and live happily
