Sorry to all the haters, but I love the beta trned omega trope. It has so much nuance and I like people having to figure out a sudden life change and adapt. I'd read beta turned alpha too for that reason, but it basically never happens.
I don't leave "wished he turned into an omega" on every Alpha/Beta story though, unlike a lot of Alpha/Beta lovers do the other way around. I do see people comment omega wishes occasionally though. It's mostly about wishes for children lol I feel like it's unwarranted on this story though, he's an omega from beginning to end, it's not like you got falsely invested
