I totally agree I’ve never seen the problem with that. Sadly though, there are some people that would see that and they would feel insecure about it or even jealous. I don’t really get why but it’s more common than one would think
Yeah, I mean I get both sides like that was before you, but at the same time, you might start to consciously or subconsciously compare yourself with the people if their past. It also might make you feel worried about if they're feelings will run out soon.
It's just something to talk about and either gradually work on getting over it or maybe rethink a relationship if you can't accept their past. (〜￣△￣)〜

It can show they're not compatible in terms of how serious they see relationships/sex/romance. Like sure, it's in the past, but how else are you able to tell how a person is?
Now I personally don't care if someone has a wild past, but I can understand how some people are uncomfortable with it.
