I wish, but I highly doubt that’s the case. A lot of stories like this just introduce a second love interest who is a pure green flag just to emphasise that the main couples love and connection is beyond it and they love each other regardless of their flaws and problems

The thing is bc the black haired one was introduced so early on I actually think he's going to end up with him and that this is gonna be a "moving on from my first love" kind of story...especially bc black haired is much more of a green flag and it seems like Mc is pretty adamant about finding his own way
