True and even if she did something, knowing her parents she would be in house arrest and wouldn't see the light of day because what can she do? Nothing. She's really just there for everyone to look at and ogle because she was his dad's precious daughter and her husband's wife. Literally she was just a doll
Is ignorance a crime? She was happy in the bubble her family created around her, she never knew what was happening outside, but isn't that how we all live? Do anyone of us deserve to call her out for being ignorant? What could she have done even if knew? Everyone knows how patriarchal society was in those times. And the citizens putting their misplaced hate on her just because they have no one else to blame. Does she deserve to be driven to suicide because she was ignorant? Is being ignorant that big of a crime? Let's all be real.
