I’m sorry, but no. The author didn’t do any “research” this is literally used and recycled plot.

They may be a talented artist, but as far as Jinx goes, It’s pure lazy writing, full of cliches, that they didn’t even try to make into their own. Sure people love tropes like this and that’s perfectly fine, but talented authors takes tropes and cliches, then write it in their own style, making it interesting. But this author did not. They literally just threw in the most recycled plot, while profiting off it (honestly I’m not even mad at that, because do what you have to do to get that money)

Then they are hyping up season 2 saying “big things are coming,” when we know exactly what’s coming, because again, cliches. I just hope there’s a bigger plot twist, if so I might actually be invested.
