I fully agree with you, no one is being forced to read, I just wanna say tho that a lot of people really hate the seme and are commenting about that, but are enjoying the story itself!
For example, me. Can't stand the seme, he has very little character development and he is a horrible person but I'm reading it anyway because the story is interesting and I wanna make sure the uke is safe haha...and if the seme somehow redeems himself then that's all the better!
Yeaaah I get that, If JK was a real person I would hate him with a passion like I hate Ariana Grande, but because he's a character in a story I like reading him so much, like he's an asshole but he's not boring, and the best part of reading toxic semes like him is watching them squirm and suffer when they get rejected, same with BJ Alex, my favorite part I always go to re-read is the chasing arc
