For me, it’s when the readers clearly don’t comprehend what is going on or read the author’s notes. I remember reading this extremely toxic story, wondering if it’ll get better, only to find out the author just loved sadistic stories and I quickly dropped it. The readers in that comment section were so fucking brain dead and stubborn. Just nonstop comments about how toxic the story is, how gross everything was, and just nonstop hate. By all fucking means, just drop it. There’s other stories to read.
Also seen people just started hating or liking a character for one act they did without fucking considering the whole plot of the story. I felt bad for this one manhwa because the readers were shitting on the ML, giving false information that he was toxic, when it was clearly established that from his point of view, he was distancing himself from the FL because he felt “unworthy.” He was never fucking toxic, it was just a big misunderstanding. Now that story has the lowest fucking ratungs, false comments warning new readers of a trash ML, and I highly doubt it’ll be picked up. I want the people who commented lengthy ass comments with a review of what actually happened instead of fucking skimming with their brains on autopilot.
The number 3 tho. People can literally express their frustration to the comment section, whats wrong with that comment?

Look at the third comment. It causes a lot of translations to be dropped because of continuous backlash. Expressing your frustration vs including readers to be jerks by liking the characters is different.

i might be biased, but i think this has happened because of mangago's unfortunate and sudden exposure to tiktok and twitter. tiktok and twt folks are a bunch of kids and they loooove to harass you if they think they're morally superior to you. Am I the only one who thinks that these new generation or BL readers are a bunch of A-hole? Like I mean these past three years, these new readers are ruining the community. They are so entitled and arrogant.
1. We’re in an illegal website so none of us should demand shit from an author. You’re not contributing to the author’s hardwork so why should we demand sht?
2. Leave people alone. I used to remember that no one would care what you read before. Like you read gore and red flags? Okay, you do you. But now, people are attack readers for reading Jinx and BDSM stuff. Worse is that these attackers are probably minors.
3. If you don’t like the story, why do you keep reading it and then proceed to complain? Readers are complaining “why can’t the uke see the red flag?” well, why can’t you??
