In the novel there was nothing from the demon love anybody....but because Lianca don't made the 3rd wish yet, he became impatient and Lianca meking him irritated, so he wanna be free from her, he cannot help directly dipose Lianca, because he cannot harm his contractor, but he don't going to tell Lianca things, like Rose is alive, what could help her in the future... He is a tipical demon who wanna have his own fun and benetits, he doesn't care anything else. ML going to tell Rose to not go near to him, because he is dangerous even for him to handle.
