Rather than silvery white, Ingrid’s hair was more of a very light pinkish gray. But, because of its resemblance to the count’s hair, other maids advised her to dye it so that the wife and family wouldn’t assume she’s an illegitimate relative and treat her worse
Are we meant to think that maid that ran away was also a result of the Count's "actions"?????
