Agreed! And to think someone had the nerve to say her pretending was ableist... Like are we reading the same book? Someone doing whatever they had to, to SURVIVE, is not the same as say someone pretending to need a wheelchair in order to get the MINIMAL benefits that gets you. Cause let's be honest, there's not much benefits to pretending to be disabled since disabled people aren't exactly treated the best. Which is what they should be angry about. Not about an abused princess trying to avoid death. So I'm relieved to see comments like yours and others, that seem to grasp that and understand where the princess is coming from.
Woah whoever wrote that comment needs to reread because it's literally not fun and games she has to go through everyday. She is not pretending to be disabled to play around. I take care of disabled people in real life and her doing whatever it takes to survive made me tear up. Anyone would've done what she did, everyone would've unless of course they killed themselves, were talking about life and death here so does that person want her to die like that? So, In this scenario it's justified.
Thank you! I couldn't agree more. Like you, I take care of my mother who is disabled, and I myself have a disability. So I'm the last person to be like, "yay! Let's fake illnesses/disorders!" But look at her life! Heck, I even encourage her behaviour. Like do whatever necessary to live! So I definitely agree that it's completely justified here.
I dont think she’s faking it, she’s been deprived of care and traumatized since childhood. What she’s doing looks more of a defense mechanism to protect herself, think about it, she thinks they’ll stop caring for her once she stopped having bruises, the inner dialogue of herself as well questions the care she’s been receiving from the ml and mil. It’s so sad and I çant wait for her to tell her back story anyways where the novel at

But you're right that it's all a defensive mechanism in the end. Which is why calling her a ableist made no sense. I'm eager for them to know her back story as well and see where it goes from there. I also can't wait for her to realize that she can trust her husband and MIL. She really needs a proper family.
Yes I somewhat agree with you, she is faking it but while continueing to do it almost everyday she developed some problems as I have mentioned. And yessss I really want them to know I want them to trust each other and when that happens she will be able to reveal it all by herself or maybe they will figure it out by themselves but she really needs people by her side and people who offer her comfort and love. At first I thought she had a medical problem, it's sad knowing she had to fake it all and still has trouble doing normal things after not doing it for a while like holding a fork or even talking! I cried I am not gonna lie their. It kind of reminds me of The princess pretends to be crazy but way better! I love the ML is so green and fresh and it's good that he is not forceful... Except for that one moment but he was shocked so I won't hold him accountable. Someone needs to educate her a bit more on knowledge, she is not ready for that yet, don't force yourself please..the king can go fuck himself if he thinks you should get a baby, the mother is an angel and his dad... He needs to die along with he maids!!! Ml needs to start a revolt against the king, he should marry her and become emperor since she is royalty too. Perfect plan if you ask me
