It was the nicest before I watched Big Windup and DNA and I'm like "Hey, so... Fastball isn't the only pitch that they could throw and catchers have a say to the pitch call and stuff... Cause Goro kinda took all the burden cause he only knows how to throw fastballs at a high speed and 1 breaking ball (he learnt it at a later season).
But he didn't use that breaking ball that much.
Maybe sawamura won't be given the ace number since furuya really is strong to be honest. He's acknowledged by many and even miyuki has high hopes for him to become a true ace. BUT I'm sure sawamura will become a very very very important key pitcher that is revered and feared by many. A "troublesome player" seen by the opponents. It's like hinata in haikyuu. He's not called a progidy or an ace of the team but he grabs many attention to him as "that no. 10" the best decoy ever. So sawamura is awesome in his own league ^^ XD
