There is some more angst coming. The angst lasts almost until the ending.

The most depressing part comes close to the end and is about the 3rd condition.

Ohhh yeah I heard about that, do you happen to know if we’re nearing the ending? Or more drama will happen before the 3rd condition?

The newest update is around chapter 100 of the novel. The main story ends around chapter 134. Then there are several sidestories. (around 20 chapters).
I don't really remember the content though. Meanwhile, I've read too much other stuffXD

But yeah definitly more heavy drama to fulfill the 3rd condition. The 3rd condition is something very sad/depressing.

What is it

A bigger drama will lead to the third condition. I don't remember everything, but edith, duchess and lize will get kidnapped by edith's brother who's obsessed with Lize. And before this incident, Edith was supposed to leave the backdoor of rudwick mansion open for the invasion, and she didn't do it. So they used this opportunity to torture her while she's kidnapped with Lize and the duchess. So they'll keep lize and duchess different room and Edith I'm the basement, beaten up by that rude maid from before. But don't worry! Cliff to the rescue!
But not edith's rescue tho. Cliff rescued lize and the duchess, and when the duchess asks where is Edith, lize lies and tells her it was edith's plan to get them kidnapped. Believing that, duchess sadly goes back to the mansion with them, with a liar and the one who didn't even want to rescue Edith. Killan was somewhere else, and couldn't be there at the time. When he came back, he was livid. Getting angry, worried and itching to go look for her. The moment he gets permission from the duke, even though his intention on finding Edith was different, to cliff's dismay, killan went immediately to look for her. He didn't care if she was actually the perpetrator of the kidnapping, but he wanted to find her because he loves her.

So yeah, that happens...

What happens after ???

Edith was left alone in the place, when Cliff came to rescue liz and the Duchess. With the help of the thugs of her brother,she left the place, heartbroken when she found out both lize and Duchess left without her. She decided to run away, selling her stuff and taking money from her secret account. As she was sitting, waiting for the carriage to run away in, she felt like she wanted to see Killian again, and she lets herself get caught by the Duke's servants. Meanwhile he's going livid, seeing that when Cliff came here, he didn't even try to check all rooms, or the basement which was empty and bloodied. The servants feeling guilty. then he gets news that Edith was caught. Then when he gets there, it was like an arena like place, with edith's family saying things like of course Edith was part of it and shit. And when he gets to her, she thinks he was gonna kill her like in the original, and sits there, accepting death, clearing the third condition.

That's how lize, the author's power was reduced significantly.

How did she prove her innocence?

OMFG I just finished writing the rest of the story, all that I remembered. But it didn't send and just vanished

She didn't. Ml did. She only let herself get captured because she wanted to see ml one last time. And according to the story, this was the time would be killed by ml. So she accepted her death, when ml approached her. Ml, seeing her all given up, was more heartbroken. He proves her innocence, much to cliff's dismay. so the authors power gets significantly reduced, to 1% or less. So when edith was kept in a dungeon till the proofs were verified. Of course ml didn't like that she will put in a dungeon, but saving her is more important. During this time, lize tries to frame edith one last time when she has the chance, going to the cold dungeon with a warm water bottle (the excuse to go) and a knife (the thing to frame with)
Now the confrontation which happens now is when fl wakes up from her delusions and see that lize is a white Lotus bitch. After cutting herself a little and throwing the knife inside the cell, she screamed while ml was on his way to meet his wife. So both ml and cliff got there, while cliff was busy accusing fl, ml have her a blanket, and inspected the knife. He pointed out that the knife it too hot for it to be in this cold dungeon. It was as if the knife was next to something very warm. Now with solid proof, she lost it. Saying shit like I'm the heroine, everyone should listen to what I say, yada yada. And everyone got a glimpse of actual lize.after fl freed and healed, they left for their estate, free from his prejudiced family and dangers that could occur to her, leaving poor lenon behind. I think lenon also had a hand in proving fl's innocence I think.

During this time I think, cliff and fl has a talk, saying she doesn't need to act nice anymore, I always knew you were faking it. It doesn't matter, I love you anyway... Shit like that. So lize decide to discard the white Lotus side and bring out her nasty behaviour, wanting very very luxurious wedding and stuff. Finally after seeing the real side of lize, duchess and duke ( I think he was also there when lize lost it, and they decide not to tell the Duchess) were done with her.

And then there's a subplot where she gets a criminal charge from royal family (yes royal family, she fucked up royaly) making her imprisoned. By then cliff lost every affection for her, and divorced her, living in depressive state. Then with Ediths help, lize was imprisoned to live as a nun forever. Cliff remarried, lennon quit working for the duke and duchess and joined to work for fl and ml, and I think they have children too.
