He never ever cheated on his partner with anyone else, he wasn't even tempted to cheat on him, and at some point in this story it was pointed out that he felt like the beta smelled sweet and that was because of the professor's scent, so in fact he was only ever attracted to one person
And I do feel sorry for the beta and think that Jaehee definitely did him wrong, but u know there are worse things than cheating in this world.
I would hate anyone who had cheated on me and would never forgive them.
But as a reader who has got no skin in the game I do hope he ends up happy w the professor and I hope the beta can move on too.

I like calm arguments like this and hopefully my reply doesn't come off as rude: I REALLY dislike it when people say "there are worse things than cheating", like obviously there are worse things but that's unfair to say cause at the end of the day CHEATING is REALLY BAD, and hurts alot of people. And to someone like the beta who continuously takes L's from family members doing him wrong, this could be the WORST thing (I mean his mom and his bf are sleeping with eachother...yikes). The best ending for this would be the alphas and omega both face consequences and don't end up together, and the beta get's therapy and moves on (but that obvs won't happen if the author was sane like that, they wouldn't even write this story lol). But again, thx for ur argument, it was refreshing

i was talking about alpha not beta .beta (not sure if he just kiss his friend or sleep with him). but alpha is scum maybe beta can feel it ,that's why he cheat .it's okay because beta is not like bastard alpha that full of lies .how many times he have sex with his boyfriend's father. he didn't feel guilty at all .

Apparently all this alpha needs is a sweet scent and suddenly he can’t control his dick. The fact that he gets a happy ending and the beta gets nothing but misery from here on out makes me think this whole thing was the author justifying cheating by writing a “cheaters win” story. How anyone could want the main “couple” to end up happy together is beyond me. This story does not have a satisfying narrative… well, if you’re morally opposed to cheating on a loving partner, that is.
