I get what you mean by your og comment tho, fat kids get put into these type of spoiled, petty child roles a lot. These characters tend to be limited to a very few specific negative traits with have no human depth to them basically. It sucks. It's dumb to deny that based on history or what have you.
i get that the kid's a big bully, and that he's glutinously big to show that he's lived a more opulent life than her before adoption. and he's also bigger than her in general, but to do the huffing and puffing was a bit much. why do these writers try to make fun of fat people so much...when they do garbage like that it seems like they've never really interacted with a fat person and they're just writing stereotypes. that was low -very low hanging fruit- and it's worse bc the character is a kid. story is interesting but that was weird hope the rest of the story isn't like that
