Yep that is plausible. One of the most prominent tales is that Gods stay in power only until people worship them. In the past life people worshipped Lina in a way and Lina worshipped that evil god. Lina even corrupted the Holy tree. People must have been corrupted too. Thus the God lost his powers.

It could be like one of those tales where a god is in love with a human/goddess but the human/goddess doesn't love them back so they get obbsessed with the human/goddess and keep tracking their soul's reincarnations. He does look obbsessed with her though as it is shown in ch 83.

Lina is also a saint but to an "evil" god.... The novel Seria read forgot to mention the "evil" in it....
And that evil god wanted Seria but the biatch Lina did all those evil schemes that got Seria dead.... So that evil god rewound time using Michel and his mom to get back what he wants....
And that white haired god got weak coz no one believed Seria in her past life....
