The only thing that would somewhat explain it would be if his mysophobia is from some kind of trauma or very dependent on his stress levels and maybe being comfortable would alleviate that.
Hes more of a clean freak than someone who actually fears germs. To me he seems like someone who needs things in order.

Yeah fr, cause sometimes they show him obsessing over cleanliness or it getting worse when he's stressed but a lot of the time he really just seems like a clean freak or just not bothered even and it especially doesn't make sense cause oftentimes mysophobia and OCD come hand in hand.
I think if you want to write about something you should do a bit of research first. Reminds me of all those kdramas with a similar premise lolll
