so like the guy he's been watching over killed someone? So in order for the other group to not kill the guy, the dude with the scars went to another group to ask for protection
I think it starts in the middle of the story and flashbacks will happen.

It'll be clear later on in the middle of the story as to Tan Lang's true motive and how he got in this mafia mess.
