ETA- there is not one good person here except maybe your poor BIL, who was murdered for no good reason other than petty rivalry on your and “E’s” part, and the possible root of jealousy your wife had against him for her lack of ability for the light spirit. It seems all of you need to get your heads out of your asses and just TALK to each other. You need a divorce and it sounds like a lot of this needs investigation and jail time for someone at least.

I took your words into consideration and thought about your advice. HOWEVER recently "E" decided to also kill my best friend and Brother in law and I am not willing to let him get his way. Although this might not be right I will write a letter to my wife and let her find me in an unfortunate situation. Although I feel bad about it for her, I am powerless and being consumed by my power. Therefore I decided to take drastic actions against "E". Afterall it's not like the power of light that has disappeared is gonna return and give me enough time to clear up all the misunderstandings.

AITA for ignoring my tyrant wife in order to put her best friend in his place.
I (20M) am married to the princess that never gained a light spirit. I married her to get close to her brother whose power prevents me from dying. I never told her anything because I realized she genuinely does have feelings for me. I decided not to tell her the truth, but the guilt is killing me. I avoid telling her the truth, but now her best friend (20M) let's call him "E" knows the truth and tries to get in the way. I hate her friend and I always try to prevent him from separating us. Anyway "E" ends up encouraging my wife to rebel against her brother, whom I spend lots of time with. After she kills him I end up ignoring my wife and pushing her away because I know it's the only way to annoy "E". Clearly the only way to make sure "E" suffers is make sure I limit contact with my wife, who is leaving the citizens suffer and becoming a murderer. So, AITA for ignoring my horrible wife who is encouraged by her best friend to do terrible acts. CLEARLY I haven't done anything wrong here.
