I'm on the spectrum and I have to say pretty much every single one of my favorite manga characters seem autistically coded to me! So I totally agree with you, it's fascinating once you notice. I think a lot of writers kind of unconsciously end up writing characters on the spectrum!

I’ve have a friend that is autistic, and he just says whatever comes to him. He’s great, and quite blunt. It’s refreshing.
I know how people get sensitive with these topics, but it’s just an observation. He’s hypersensitive to the heat suppressant too.
