Ugh ig u forgot but since they weren’t “so close” they never exchanged phone numbers and also did u not see his uncles hand ? His life was never the easy going broke high schooler and since his uncle was obviously running from someone them driving to the mountain and exposing her identity and location was out of the question so unfortunately i don’t see any chances here.
I am sorry i know he was forced to leave but couldn't he spare 5 minutes to meet her and tell he's leaving , or even a phone call or a text! , Nah he missed up big time i hope she doesn't forgive him easily
