lowk in my own observation (n my 3rd reread) wonjae was manipulative from the start. brother approached the mc w the intention to use him so that he could become the real jihoon. especially w the red head dude? brother literally blackmailed him and played the victim till college wonjae is an asshole and he knows that lmfaoo he's a good person when he wants to be one

I agree OG wonjae pursued youngmin with dubious intentions (trying to reconnect his past) but homeboy was just let go from being institutionalized :(
Also OG is more gruff than mean or manipulative.. he even helped Youngmin gain courage to stand against the abusive red head although his means and attempts to do so was dubious xD
