Can someone kind enough pls explain a little,
Does this mean Theselid has to regress 17x so she can save him or smth? In this recent chap, is that already the 17th? Im so confused. When will he stop dying/regressing?

Yeah, iirc some ppl also said reed = Terry so then we have 2 Thesilid in the same timeline (17th) like I'm so confused ┗( T﹏T )┛

So the MC's trial period was before any of Tesilid's regressions. After her trial period ended, she was automatically put in chapter 17 of the novel, which is Tesilid's 17th regression. Iirc, Ailette knew the whole time that after the trial period, she would be put at this point and that Tesilid would be suffering a lot since she would last see him. Which is why she rushed to go get him. It didn't *have* to be his 17th regression, it just was what was gonna happen with the trial period ending, I think. Her goal is to keep him safe and happy so hopefully he stops dying. But unfortunately, the 17th regression was very short so she doesn't know much about what would've happened in this timeline (including the loss of his powers and amnesia, I guess)

Even outside of keeping him safe and happy, I think she needs him to not die because she doesn't know what will happy to the story and to herself if he regressed.
