Yes, it's exactly their dynamic which is so interesting. Ian and TJ feel real compatible and more comfortable around each other also in their sex scenes, but that's mainly because they've known each other since they were teens, with Jo he feels kinda far away but also uncomfortable kinda, maybe because jo isn't as toxic as tj

I think both TJ and Joe have toxic traits. TJ had that event that was implied that he was behind it although if I remember correctly it was not his intention to hurt Ian (his feet) but it was toxic either way. Joe I feel that besides having the obsession such as TJ, he knows Ian’s situation with TJ and he allows himself to be a rebound which makes me think that he is using the situation in his favour. He knows that Ian is more vulnerable since he is looking for TJ (which he already stated is like family) and not finding them, not knowing if they are alive or not, it doesn’t sit well with me use this time to create a bond with Ian (which is pretty clear based on the last chapter).
That being said, TJ actually allowed Ian to leave the mafia and kept this way even if Ian was willing to protect him. Besides (MAJOR SPOILER ALERT, don’t read from here if you don’t want spoilers)——— it seems based on the raws that TJ was actually the one that helped Ian to get clean from doing drugs. In the more recent chapters, it seems that they are telling the story of how he helped Ian, which makes me think that every time the author gives team Joe screen time, they mercilessly smash it with TJ and Ian’s story lol
Ian and Jo is more vanilla, they can connect and do couple things. But the impression is that Ian is somewhat anxious. It’s like he is there but not 100%. I am not sure if I am the only one who notices…on the other hand, in his scenes with TJ, they are beasts devouring their whole bodies and there is exactly where they wanted to be. The o my way I see things working with Joe is if Ian lets TJ go.
