hiatus and for whom?

for L*zh*n's translators/staff, not the author. T*ppyt**n is way better.

sorry I just can't help but compare this with the Dreaming of the Dokkaebi.

in KR raws, there were 2 special episodes that the artists/authors released instead of 2 weeks hiatus because they ran out of manuscript. so it was Ch 19, followed by 2 special episodes, then Ch 20.

but in ENG official translation, T*ppyt**n released Ch 20 right after Ch 19 and didn't translate/release the 2 special episodes from KR raws which means they didn't need to go on "hiatus" unlike in the KR og ones.

while what we have here for LTIT: KR raws hiatus for 1 month - then ENG officials go hiatus for 1 month as well - which doesn't sit right with me. KR raw (Ch 88) is readily available, so what's with the hiatus? again, for L*zh*n's translators/staff, not the author.

sorry for the rant

And the fact that they would get more money if they released the eng chapter at the same time as the KR one just like they did with potn. Most People would directly go buy the chapter officially instead of reading fan translation . They usually do that with their popular manhwas and LTIT is definitely popular

but tappy does this as well. It very evident when it comes to season comebacks bc they usually take super long to return with the next season

right? can't they see it as a good opportunity to finally sync with the KR one? especially now that we're in the last arc towards the end of this manhwa, they should've grabbed this chance to close the gap from the KR one.

yup, I agree with the season hiatus (3-4 or sometimes 6 months, right?) but this 1 month hiatus, from how I understood the author's post on twitter, it's a preparation for the ending (well, we really don't know what's happening in the background if what stuff had the need to be prepared that time) so I interpreted it like sorting out the storyboard to deliver the climax how the author wanted it to be. entirely not related to translating (tho I understand it may take time to work on translating the SFX). maybe L*zh*n just have a lot on their plate atm.

that’s a decision only the creator can make if they would want to (like for example the creator of limited run had a simultaneous release for the last season but she then changed it for the other official chapters to be two episodes behind the Korean chapters).

Yeah it’s really just l*zh*n working at their own pace for the English officials and to maintain the gap they have set between the Korean chapters and English chapters
