i have some thoughts about this! I'm sorry if I come off as rude but I merely mean to exchange opinions, English is not my first language

so... let me preface by saying that I'm a major in social work, which means I have observed and worked and analyzed similar situations A LOT.
this kind of behavior is definitely toxic and borderline abusive, because it actively effects in a negative way Taejun's life. Hongyeon tries to isolate him from the outside world and whatever external inputs he may receive, even in the form of a meeting with his COUSIN. Isolating your partner is a form of abuse.
Be careful not to mix "control" with "love". He loves him, yeah, you could say that, but do you really love someone if you don't allow him to be free and to live his own life without you interfering?
this is a webtoon, so "it's fine". they're not real people. but similar situations in real life can lead to terrible consequences: just picture all those horrible monsters who murder their exes or their girlfriends out of "jealousy". this type of mentality is VERY dangerous, and normalizing or romanticizing it is dangerous as well. there's nothing romantic in wanting to control my partner's life, my partner's free time, my partner's interactions with other people.

you shouldn't feel wrong to desire that kind of thing, the same way some people do CNC and it's fine. But please, FOR YOUR OWN SAKE, be careful with who you surround yourself with. some people don't want to spoil and love you, some people want to control you and cut you off from the important people in your life. be mindful of that, and again, try not to be so blind to mix up this kind of excessive "jealousy" and "possessiveness" as an act of love, because it is, in fact, not.

no it's alright, everyone has opinions, and thank you for your thoughts , i do agree with them. that's why i said there's lot much worse than hongyeon level, (karma will get them! great job you have, keep the good work and help lots of people who needs (๑•ㅂ•)و✧)

i would like to share some reason why i find hongyeon's acts (still) understandable.

1. they've just started dating. and their long journey to finally find the one that match their most rare auras, hongyeon being the more active in pursuing while taejun dangerously almost give up with the thought he had no match, the irony of being the cupid.

2. with the cousin case, he has experienced (and also triggered by the cousin), the thought there's something going on between taejun and the cousin, he even was told match (and taejun's "support" them)with someone else even within the time he pursued taejun, if he truly toxic, even everyone else in their work place would have the same treatment as the cousin and his (now) partner. he's just being annoyed with the two since the beginning and now he couldn't spend exclusive times with taejun (and taejun being worried for the two didn't ease him at all), LoL.
the cousin's partner needs some whack on the head for his ridiculous acts and thoughts though. the history between hongyeon and him make it worse. i even find him a nuisance. borderline between innocent and stupid. (￣へ￣）while the cousin only need to man up and confess. so hongyeon's more aggressive with the two is understandable for me.

3. another when hongyeon stop himself even after taejun said he could penetrate him while taejun's still recovering his back, he could still do it but chose not to. so yep, he's not in the same categorize with those can't be help horrible people.
