    i hate to be the bearer of bad news, but there's not that big of a distinction between bi and pansexual. goes entirely from what label the person chooses. since this is a fictional character and hasn't expressed his identity in any terms, you can call him the term you see fit ^^ i still think bisexual is a good word for him

    yup bi people can like anyone of any gender. it's rare to see someone who's bisexual excluding trans and non binary people (unless they're transphobic). like i said, bi and pan are labels that have a main distinction of historical background, since bi is an older term. pansexuality is a new word that may work for some people to define their identities, but it's not that different of a concept from bisexuality. just goes from personal preference, really.
