oh my god same ngl when i get invested in the main couple in the first chapters i rarely get into the side couple as much (a rare instance would be in no volume) just waiting for the transaltion to catch up to the main couple being the focus again for a bit
Norman's whole appeal in the beginning was being the wingman friend with the simplistic mob/background character design... it made him stand out and i could root for him as a fellow onlooker. the only thing i ship norman with is finding some god damn peace tbh. they made his design boring by giving him the same old anime face that every other character has
