He's said it quite a bit, but he was also the first person to express actual interest and romantic feelings towards tengoku. Tengoku just says it really often NOW since it's his first time being in love and having the capacity to say it, but tengoku has done a lot to express his affection and love over and over again
Im not saying he doesnt try to show he loves him, but there are times he is passive,when he shouldnt be.
He thinks that he loves him in his head,but he doesnt word it, especially when Tengoku says it. Or he acts a bit nonchalant sometimes. He tests Tengoku or waits to be chased too.
They are so so cute, dont get me wrong. Its just that if Tengoku shows he feels insecure, then there is smth that its not quite right.
To say living together cause it is convenient, when he could just say he wants to be with him more. He is easily misunderstood cause he says or doesnt say stuff lol
I definitely understand what you mean! I just feel like he has been pretty consistent in his way of showing affection but is generally a shy and passive person– he literally wouldn't even kiss someone in public bc he just has a lot of issues conveying his feelings and a lot of shame around them, which tengoku not only knows about but has actually preyed on. They've definitely gotten to a point where they're much healthier and he should put more effort into verbalizing his emotions but I think it must be a lot for Aoki for Tengoku to go from "love is stupid, I'm gonna kiss someone else in front of the person I know has feelings for me to prove that idc about kissing and love" to being super clingy and telling him he loves him over and over. I'm sure he will improve and we'll see him clear things up soon but I really can't blame him.
Why doesnt he ever say he loves Manabu ;-; he just looks at him and waits for him to say it. And now ex girlfriend is back and Manabu will feel more insecure.
