The author on twitter confirmed that there is no saving Sihyeon this season and that next season the doctor will come into play and also be a obstacle to Shiyeon it’ll be a long ride until Sihyeon feels joy or any semblance of content feelings :(

Sihyeon deserves all the happiness.
If Kang is not going to save MC. Then, please, author, send the doctor. Where is he? He is the only hope for MC right now (unless he is also one of the negative characters, which I hope he is not).
