no yeah he is definitely a rapist how do you think he isn't?? literally everything about their contract/relationship dan was forced into, jaekyung keeps dangling money and paying off dan's debts just out of dan's reach so he can abuse and use him in any way he wants everything about this is abusive and rape. its very clear dan doesn’t wanna do the sexual favours the only reason he is doing it is cause he feels like he needs to repay jaekyung for paying off his debt(which he only did so he can get dan to himself) and so he can pay his gran's hospital bills

I think most forget about the contract, but still the line the manwha crosses is very thin between actual r@pe and within the contract of just normal s-x

Hey i mean dan didn't have to sign the contract, he most definitely could have walked away. Dan knew what he was signing up for (hence the contract) so i dont think he is a rapist, but a major asshole? YES MOST DEFINITELY.

My opinion on this after arguing about this since like the beginning of when the story dropped. I don’t take him as a rapist. Everything was under a contract, so it’s more like prostitution. I’ve read a lot of stories when the ML rapes the MC and normally they will rape them first then make some type of deal, for instance i recently read checkmate. Clear from the start that the MC gets raped, no contract or agreement before sex. In Jinx it’s different and Jaekyung is sure to mention that Dan has to do it when he wants without saying no and Dan agrees for the sake of money. It also made no sense to me why jaekyung would rape Dan when he pays people to have sex with him, as we see early on that there was another character who also assisted Jaekyun with his jinx. Adding on to that since he can get and pay anyone else to have sex with him he said oh if you don’t want to do it get out. Keep in mind he gives Dan many chances to leave even during sex. I think he’s more of a manipulator than rapist because he used Dans need for money as a way to contract with him. As well I think people also forget that Dan was molested by the doctor and almost raped by the loan sharks if not for jaekyung. Dan feeling like he has to do it to repay Jaekyung for his debt is his own internal issue because he’s still getting paid for having sex under the contracts terms. Is jaekyung abusive, YES. Is he a narcissist, YES. Is he a rapist? No. My thing is if it was a real contract or not Dan still agreed to it.

just because he knew what he was signing up for doesn’t mean he actually wanted it, its been made clear the only reason he's done all this is to pay off his debt and his gran's hospital bills, for dan it was either 'go into more debt and lose his grandmother who is his only family left' or 'be this guy's personal pt and sex toy so he can potentially keep his gran alive' there were no other options for him. he didn't want the sex, he didn't want to sign the contract he wanted to save his grandma and this was his only option in his desperate situation
