
I don’t think here it’s made to make him look cute. He’s clearly struggled from it and trying to overcome how he thinks and acts differently from people. I actually pretty liked how it’s handled because from the beginning you could feel it and it didn’t feel like sticking an etiquette on him just because.

as someone whose autistic and has been fetishised, I actually don't see anything wrong with his character. I feel like his personality and his growth is what's adorable. the author has obviously done a bit of research. I've seen quite a lot of yaoi that are intentionally 'autism-coded' for views, but this isn't one of them.
And the fetishization for autism continues.... Anyone who tries to deny this is blind as hell. A lot of yaoi manga is intentionally autism-coded because it makes the mc looks 'cute'. Gross cash grab trick, ugh...
