Maybe you feel like that 'cause we wait for so long for each chapter and by the time the chapter is uploaded we will have lost all the excitement we had when we read the previous chapters.
Maybe that's it, but I think that the fact that the story is mostly focusing on new characters rn doesn't help, I kinda don't care about them, or their backstory, I wanna see our main cast more, Chika meeting, and talking with his father, how his and Satowa relationship will progress etc, also glasses and Kurusu? Damn I can't even remember their names anymore

Pace is fine when binge reading. It's just we read this by update that kills the excitement, we've forgotten where we're at then just pick up clues along the way. That's why the appreciation dies down. I think it'll help to stop reading it for sometime then binge when there's more chapters uploaded
I agree. Just.. I understand the feeling.
I'm just waiting for main cast to be on the spotlight once again, those new ppl are introduced way too late, and I don't care about them, plus it's been few months with their pov, and I'm burned out because of it.
I actually might w8 for chapters to pile up, and then come back.
