But they do joke about it, Dante wakes up in the hospital and pretends to have amnesia and asks Raif who he is, Rafi goes along with it saying “I’m the man you promised to marry” to Dante’s dismay that his prank didn’t work work and Raffi says “of course it didn’t, who gets amnesia from a shoulder injury?” lol

No he just gets a shoulder injury and separated from the other soldiers, he ends up finding two young kids down in a tunnel and takes them with him to find a way out. But despite being in the hospital after, the officially starting dating Raffi does happen.
