Not saying she doesn't have some reflecting to do but..why is she taking all the blame here when he literally cheated on her . I mean, I too think they should divorce, but there's no way this falls completely on her shoulders. Maybe her being so focused on work lead to him cheating, yea, but in the end, he's an adult and he could have either talked it out with her. He had a choice and he cheated, and now their marriage is just falling apart due to those two variables. She isn't cold, as she wants to give him more attention, but some people just really enjoy their jobs. And I will say that she should have realized just how little time and attention she was giving him, and it's a shame that him cheating is what led to her realizing it. But yea...just a bit baffled that you're making her out to be the villain in this relationship when they BOTH did wrong. Imo, divorce is the only option here.

I'm not rly talking about who, or what started it, and who is to blame, I simply pointed out that she is more invested in her work, and cares more about her career than her husband, so yeah, she shouldn't be in a serious relationship if her other half is less important than her work.
I did not mention cheating, because it wasn't necessary to the point I was making, she was like this before he cheated, and now we see that nothing really changed with her priorities.
Like you said, some people enjoy their jobs, but if you care about work more than your partner, you either are with the wrong person, and you don't rly love them, or you are cold human, who needed someone to take care of the house while you are only interested in your job.

They both suck for cheating . And it's fair that people can just point out one or the other out of this couple and harp on them but your response was just extra aggressive and made it seem like she was the only one in the wrong here. The story is painted to make mc seem as if she was completely wronged, however she cheated, which is still wrong and not okay. And honestly, if we're pointing out who's in the wrong MORE, 3 out of the 4 main characters cheated and it WASN'T the workaholic wife so she'd technically be at the bottom of the list in terms of wrong doings. And although your partner shouldn't come second to your work, there's no way it's worse than literally cheating on them.
Must be nice being a man and doesn't have to choose your job or your family since it's somehow wrong for woman to prioritize her job where men already done that for decades.
I might be old fashion, but if she really prioritize work over her husband, then she should go fk herself, sorry but marriage is supposed to be for life, and work is well just work, if you love your job more than your partner, then either you are with the wrong person, or you are cold af human being, and you shouldn't be in serious relationship period.
