How about #6) moves before any response to confession (fade out) and they meet later, or #7) guy says he needs to think it over but on the way home gets hit by a car and is not dead, but has amnesia. MC tells friend they were lovers and then although it's a lie and the memories start to come back slowly, after play-acting lovers, real feelings happen ...maybe we should write these

I think it was Sky Blue or something???.. but I changed some parts up in the comment :/ The manga is similar to it, except the suicide attempt kid isnt the mc. The homophobe was the mc(he does feel remorse for what he did) and later on he meets another gay kiddo who's in love with him..etc.. It was on the home page of mangago a few times.
whatever happens..im just hoping that it will not be fast-paced too much.i hope the characters will develop more..

YES!! And with ambiguous ending so you're not sure if they got together or not, but you want to think they did
I think there was also one by Junko called Kobini-kun where homophobe rejects one of the main characters, he gets bullied and becomes a shut-in. It's actually warm and fuzzy after that though (not quite so dark). There's another one by Yamashita Tomoko where there's an older man who runs an old cafe he inherited, and new worker comes in and finds that the cafe owner is gay and people gossip about it, and how he had some failed suicide attempts, Good ending though, not too sugar coated, but sweet.

Scenario#1) if MC is rejected they meet up like 10 years later and rekindle romance in a compromising position
#2) mc says his confession oddly or other guy thinks it's a joke somehow
#3) mc confesses, and other guys says he can't accept his feelings. They remain as friends all while other fellow is overly conscious of our mc=eventual love
Just some ideas, time will tell! But I can't see the confession happening without problems, bc then there would be no story
