I grew up in a house where my mom always said she was glad none of her kids are gay. I accidentally came out and she was accepting but she still says some homophobic things sometimes. My mom’s very traditional so ig I understand but I wish she was more open. Anyways I wish the best for you situation and if family isn’t there, your friends always will be

Tbh I'm also planning to come out to my mom when I have a partner I want to marry, and she once said that she's lucky non of her kids are gay cuz she'd disown them. I'll prolly be in the same shoes as him, but I wont cry cuz I'd rather rid of conditional love out of my life
