I agree, he was sharp in the beginning. Hes still cold in these later chapters and still better than a lot of spineless ukes in a lot of manhwas/mangas though.
Yall just cannot handle complex characters and get mad when they have more than 1 facade who in their right minds wouldnt slowly get more emotional n sentimental knowing a) his ass gonna die at 30 b) he could finally be free after yrs of abuse n labor etc etc

Not mad, but the story did a good job portraying the MC as intelligent and strong willed in the beginning when they're explaining his role in the casino, not saying he stopped being those things. As the story progressed there were less ways to portray him as such and so we only see him in situations where he's just doing his best to survive, so that was a change in contrast to how he was first introduced. Its possible that we're just not seeing the complexity of his character since the story hasn't progressed much with the Wikileaks plot, so its possible we might see more of that later on.
Also, not saying he's a baddie, but a bad bitch with his aloofness and coldness towards the seme. Despite being terrorized I still dont see him as a weak character, that's what I meant about being a bad bitch. Although, I've seen a lot of ukes that are emotionally fragile and weak, so the standard is still pretty low.
since i’ve read spoilers about this story i just can’t enjoy it anymore, ALSOOO i hate how hawon is not that bad bitch anymore… i mean he is still a baddie but not as much as the beginning of the story like i love when he’s calculated and smart and strong headed because we just don’t see a lot of ukes like that
