I agree with you to a certain extent. I just also consider the fact that before it was shown that Shin Ginu took the one girlfriend, Yubin had told him that he didn't even like her like that and didn't want to hurt her feelings. So sure Ginu was being selfish, but he probably also felt that it wouldn't end up hurting Yubin so much? And with the Noona, Ginu had asked him who he liked, and he never admitted to really liking anyone. I think he did it more to make sure she stayed away from Yubin, not because he thought Yubin liked her... but who knows this is Yaoi lol it's just meant to be read for fun.
^^^^ I just see this type of character in yaoi TOO OFTEN and it annoys me. A lot of semes in yaoi are awful people, but they get away with it because fujoshi's are too busy drooling over hot dudes.
This type of character (aka asshole) appear very often in straight romance manga too. Way too often especially in the mature/smutty ones. They also get away with it because of the "bad boy" image, being drawn cool & handsome/they get a sad backstory to make up for the bad attitude/ being an asshole is passed off as manly/charming. Cliche stories with love triangles will often do the "bad boy vs good boy" thing and the fangirls are almost always torn between who to choose despite one of them is obviously an asshole. And guys touching the girl without consent? Being "rapey"? Plenty of those and they get away with it because the fangirls are like "he loves her so much so he can't resist!" "I'm so jealousy! I want a boyfriend like that!"
So uhh...its not just fujoshi being too busy drooling over hot dudes.
fujoshis been given lots of shits lately everywhere I see, they're the only one being called out for being 'nasty'. people focus so much on gay stuff lately that they forget the same shit is also happening elsewhere.
Pink haired dude is a conniving, backstabbing shithead. Let's say if a GIRL was in love with you, and she kept STEALING YOUR BOYFRIENDS, wouldn't you be pissed as hell? He only gets away with his behavior bcuz he's a boy in yaoi. If the genders were reversed, and a girl was doing this, everyone would be shitting on her. I dont like this sort of character at all.
If you truly loved someone, you wouldn't be trying to separate them from who they love (or who you THINK they love). You'd find the balls to confess to them, and if they reject you, then wish for their happiness and move the fuck on.
