yeah a while ago I did that to a lot of my mangas on my to-read section when i couldn't find anything specific in the comments/tags, because I'm so sick of reading something and then any of those things happen...and don't get me wrong, I like stories with trauma (meaning sa or rape or death, yk?) but they have to be well written. which is not the case for many of them. most just treat it as something light, or don't address it at all, or think that a redemption arc is gonna solve anything. there are also a lot of traumatic stories that are just not well written, they don't dive deep into the character's emotions through the story and just end up making a cliche that somehow helped the mc get over all their trauma
but thanks for answering hahaha

same here. i love well written stories where complex characters go through hardship, where character development isn’t just waking up in the morning and suddenly started regretting what you’ve done.
anyways in this case this story isn’t for you. because interesting complex characters? none. not even consistent or understandable ones. they all do different stuff for the sake of just doing it for the plot ig. the plot itself is very predictable so the whole thing with plot twist of the mc investigating a murder case while trying to figure out who the father of his baby is quite boring and feels like i’m being scammed. like they are selling a cheap thing for higher price just because it has some glitter on it.
other than that storytelling is just bad, art isn’t that good either. not even gonna talk about world building.
major flaw is that the story has dysfunctional characters dealing with deeply traumatic experiences such as rape, sa. i can’t stress enough over such stories.
anyways i regret spending more than 5 mins on this story. i hope you didn’t spend any of your time on it
is this worth reading? does this have any sa, rape, incest, miscommunication, manipulation, red flag, toxic people? is the plot good? is it an immature relationship where they behave like fucking children and also think like one? big age gap?
