Maybe in one AU she disregards her neglectful husband, neglectful father and neglectful brother because they've ignored her all these years and she believes she can't rely on any of them even when she tries (follows the same plot of her husband shutting her down and her father ignoring her when they meet again leading to her feeling disheartened and hopeless) so when the prince approaches her she's more of a depressed tsundere and when he approaches one thing leads to another and boom they're together.
